The Rules

According to Baccarat rules the cards have the following value:

Cards from 2 to 9 have their own value. Any ace is worth 1 and a 10 or any face card is 0. If a 2 card hand is worth more than 10, it loses the 1st digit in the value, because a total value of 9 is the largest in Baccarat. Thus, let’s see an example, you have 7 6, so the total will be 13 so 10 is subtracted and your hand will have a total of 3.

The ‘Natural’ is called a hand that consists of the initial 2 cards and has a total of 8 or 9. If someone has a natural, he wins immediately. If dealer and player have such a hand, the highest hand wins. If both naturals are absolutely the same, this is a tie and those who have made a bet on Tie get their bets.

If nobody has a natural, a third card are dealt to the player and the banker. Directed by the caller the player moves. If the player hand is a 5 or less, the dealer deals another card to him. If he doesn’t want a 3rd card, the banker stands on 6 or 7, and draws a 3rd card if he has 5 or less. If the player has a 6 or 7, he stands on this score. The player wants to take a third card, the following rules concerning the banker are in effect:

The banker’s hand is 2 or less then the banker draws another card, the player’s 3rd card does not matter.

The banker’s hand is 3 then the banker draws another card but if the 3rd card of the player is an 8, he does not take the next card.
The banker’s hand is 4 then the banker draws another card but if the 3rd card of the player is a 0, 1, 8 or 9, the banker doesn’t take the 3rd card.

The banker’s hand is 5 then he takes one more card. But if the 3rd card of the player is from a 4 to a 7, the banker does not take the next card.

The banker’s hand is 6 then he takes one more card. If the 3rd card of the player is a 6 or a 7, the banker does not take the 3rd card.
The banker’s hand is 7 then the banker stands.
